CLASSES & COURSES

YOGA FOR RECOVERY
Weekly, Tuesdays, 5:00 - 6:00pm
Heatherside Community Centre, Camberley
£13 per class drop-in option, or term payment on request
This small, therapeutic group class was previously known as Yoga for Cancer Journey. It is now open also to people navigating other long-term challenges (such as lower back pain, MS, or fibromyalgia), and who may not see themselves in a regular yoga class but would benefit from a gentler, more supportive space.
Each 60-minute session of 'Yoga for Recovery' will include gentle physical movements and postures, conscious breathing, relaxation, and mindfulness meditation, in modified forms that are appropriate to therapeutic situations and healing.
Participants will be guided through adapted yoga postures to reconnect with the body in a positive way, improve mobility, and find a moment of calm.
This class uses props - yoga strap, bricks/blocks and may use the wall or a chair to support us in poses.

YOGA FOR WELLNESS
Weekly, Thursdays, 6:30-7:45pm
Heatherside Community Centre, Camberley
Term bookings or £15 per class (drop-in option if class is open)
Join us for a well-rounded, gentle yoga practice rooted in breath-led movement. This class is designed to support a strong, supple spine, improve joint mobility, and enhance balance. Each session weaves together postures (āsana), breathing practices (prāṇāyāma), and meditation (dhyāna) for a holistic, integrated experience. We move at an easy, unhurried pace, with plenty of options and modifications offered throughout. The emphasis isn’t on raising your heart rate, but on cultivating long, steady breathing patterns and the capacity to rest comfortably in stillness.
You don’t need to be flexible to begin yoga; however, this class is best suited to those who are already moderately active and free from injury. If your body needs more personalized attention - or if you’re a shy beginner - you may benefit from a tailored one-on-one program with me (available upon request) before joining a group class.

ONE TO ONE YOGA SESSIONS
£50 for 1 hour, or £150 for 4 x 1 hour
This is not a “follow-the-teacher” yoga class. In a private setting, the focus is on you - your goals, your needs, and how yoga can support your life. How our class looks depends on you.
It is suitable for people who have never done yoga before or want to develop their current yoga practice or improve their health concerns.
Our one-to-one work may include posture and movement, breathing practices, meditation, and supportive lifestyle habits. Your goals might involve improving sleep, easing aches and pains in the back, shoulders, hips, or knees, reducing joint or muscle stiffness, managing stress, or working with challenges such as peri-menopause or autoimmune conditions.
-
We begin with a detailed conversation about your needs and intentions, followed by an informal assessment. This helps create a clear framework for our work together.
-
From there, we build the foundations of yoga practice by learning how to listen to your body and practise in a way that honours your unique psycho-physical structure.
-
I design and adapt a bespoke practice for you to take home and practise regularly, in your own time.
-
As you progress, we review your routine, support consistency, and fine-tune the practice so it continues to meet you where you are.
If you are interested, please email me to arrange a free introductory call, where we can discuss the details and see if this way of working is right for you.

SOUND BATH
Monthly on Sundays, 6:30 -7:30 pm
in Farnborough
£14 per session
A sound bath invites deep rest and relaxation and is an opportunity to explore self-inquiry, inspiration, reintegration, and healing. It is a form of guided sound meditation where all participants are deeply immersed in a variety of sounds, tones, frequencies, and vibrations.
During the session, we will do a light breathing exercise that gradually quiets the mind. Everyone experiences sound healing meditation differently. It may shift you into a state of deep relaxation; an altered state of consciousness;
or you may even find yourself falling asleep.
Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome. I strongly believe that sound waves can calm the nervous system, and balance the physical and spiritual aspects of everyone, no matter gender, body conditions, and beliefs.
