Service Description

A 1-hour sound bath is a form of sound meditation where all participants are deeply immersed in a variety of different sounds, tones, frequencies, and vibrations. The experience invites a deep rest and relaxation and is an opportunity to explore self-inquiry, inspiration and healing. During the session, my Tibetan singing bowls will be placed centrally on the floor, and I invite people to lay down on the floor around the bowls, in any comfortable position. Before I play the sounds, we will do a light breathing exercise that gradually quiets the mind. Everyone experiences sound healing meditation differently. It may shift you into a state of deep relaxation or an altered state of consciousness, or you may even find yourself falling asleep, which is fine. At the end of the session, I will gently bring you back to form a state of meditation. Beginners and more experienced practitioners are welcome because we all go from where we are. I strongly believe that sound waves can calm the nervous system and balance the physical and spiritual aspects of everyone, no matter gender, body conditions, and beliefs. PREPARE / BRING: Comfort is key when participating in any form of meditation. The more comfortable you are, the more you will be able to relax and allow yourself to fully engage in the experience. Loose, non-restrictive clothing is always a good choice. It is recommended that you are well hydrated before your experience as sound and vibration travel much better through water. Have a bottle of water to drink afterward. If you must bring your cell phone into the venue, be sure to turn it off or have it on ‘do not disturb’. Please bring the following with you: • yoga/pilates mat • pillow for head and/or under knees • blanket • bottle of water BOOKING: • online booking only • walk-ins will not be permitted • space is limited and will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis LOCATION: St Francis Church's Hall 121 Upper Chobham Rd Camberley GU15 1EE Free parking in the front carpark or on street
