Midsummer Night's Dream

Summer Solstice Sound Bath, 20 June at 8:00 pm

14 British pounds
Heather Ridge School, Camberley

Service Description

A special Sound Bath to celebrate the longest day in 2025 and the Light within us. Please bring your favorite poem to share with others. A 1-hour sound bath is a form of sound meditation where all participants are deeply immersed in a variety of different sounds, tones, frequencies, and vibrations. The experience invites a deep relaxation and is an opportunity to explore self-inquiry, inspiration and healing. During the session, my Tibetan singing bowls will be placed centrally on the floor, and I invite people to lay down on the floor around the bowls, in any comfortable position. Before I play the sounds, we will do a light breathing exercise that gradually quiets the mind. Everyone experiences sound healing meditation differently. It may shift you into a state of deep relaxation or an altered state of consciousness, or you may even find yourself falling asleep, which is fine. At the end of the session, I will gently bring you back to form a state of meditation. Beginners and more experienced practitioners are welcome because we all go from where we are. I strongly believe that sound waves can calm the nervous system and balance the physical and spiritual aspects of everyone, no matter gender, body conditions, and beliefs.
